The FS9 M concert-style acoustic guitar features an Adirondack spruce top, “modified V”
bolt-on neck, scalloped Adirondack X bracing pattern, 25-inch scale, and African mahogany
back/sides, making it ideal for singer-songwriters. Handcrafted in Japan, the FS9 M offers
extraordinary projection and produces an open, clean sound with mid-focused warm tones
when played at any volume. Yamaha’s cutting-edge acoustic measurement and 3D structural
analysis were employed while designing the FS9 M. Traditional Japanese details include a washi
paper label, rope purfling and rosette inlay, and Kumiki woodworking-inspired fret markers.
